Find your people
Start a conversation. Join a community. Make a connection.
You can enjoy building something and still want people to talk to about it. A community can be a place to ask a question, share a small win or meet somebody working on a similar idea.
Start with an honest introduction
You do not need to call yourself a founder or expert. Tell people what you are trying and what you would like to learn.
For example: “I’m learning Base44 and making a small booking enquiry page. I’ve got the form working, but I’m figuring out what happens next. Anyone building something similar?”
That gives another person a way to reply. “Hi, I’m new” is fine too, but a little context can make the first conversation easier.
Ask a question somebody can answer
Describe the goal, what you tried and where you are stuck. If you share a screenshot, remove names, contact details, tokens, payment information and anything private.
A useful question might be: “My form saves an enquiry, but I want to show a confirmation. What should I check?” Avoid pasting a whole app and asking somebody to work out everything at once.
Take part without making it another job
Reply to a question you understand. Share a useful thing you learned. Congratulate somebody on finishing a small project.
You can visit occasionally. You do not have to build a personal brand or spend every evening networking to belong.
Use the SHE//BUILDS network
Join the community to introduce yourself, ask for help or look for a collaborator. You choose whether your profile appears in the member directory. Keep account and client details out of posts.
A collaboration starts with a conversation. Before working together, agree who does what, how decisions are made and whether money or ownership is involved.
Take a connection into real life, if you want to
Look for public meet-ups or co-working sessions that fit your interests and availability. Check the organiser, venue, cost and access details before booking. Meet new people in a public place and keep your own travel arrangements.
The events page is where SHE//BUILDS announcements will appear when events are ready. It is not a promise that there is an event near you today.
Your next step can be one introduction or one reply. You do not need to walk into a room already knowing everybody.
